Berlin, 1 July 2011.

Jochen Clausnitzer joins the executive board of the German Direct Selling Association. The 40 year old lawyer has worked for the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) for the past eleven years. Since 2006 he had been Director for European and International Law at DIHK Brussels. During his previous assignments he advised representatives of the EU-institutions in the field of corporate- and consumer law. “I am challenged by the dynamics in the direct selling sector. During my work in Brussels I intensively studied the development of this distribution channel. I am looking forward to representing the direct selling industry in Germany”, explains Jochen Clausnitzer.

The present Secretary General of the German DSA, Wolfgang Bohle (67), is leaving the executive board at the end of this year. He had been leading the association since 1984 and was first President of Direct Selling Europe (DSE).
